Features

Editure NMS is a powerful, single view across your entire environment. The standard and unified view of all devices and their performance characteristics can be used by both Editure and your internal team to manage, restore, predict and analyse device behaviour.

1. Dramatically expand your team

Editure NMS places an Editure engineer at the right spot in your network, at the right time and with the right information. Expand the skills and reach of your team with Editure’s team of highly-skilled, vendor certified engineers without the cost and hassle of a formal project engagement or hiring additional staff.

2. Consolidated Enterprise-wide Console

Editure NMS delivers a command centre for monitoring your enterprise-wide network health, providing a single interactive screen that aggregates data from multiple sites and devices. This simplifies the management of large, distributed networks by providing a unified view into the performance of your network and also accelerates your ability to identify and resolve issues.

3. Graphical interface

Complex network devices can be interrogated simply using the hyperlinked images of polled devices, such as switches and routers. High level information can be accessed and users can drill-down to a packet-by-port level to assist with network diagnosis and optimisation.

4. Time zone management

Managing devices across time zones can be a challenge. Editure NMS intelligently manages devices according to how your team prefers to operate. Time zones may be based on the monitored device, the host NMS appliance or the individual tasked with 1st level response to alerts from the device. These time zones can then be applied to individuals nodes or nominated users in the system, allowing an extremely granular and tailored management of devices.

5. Point-and-click Setup

Editure NMS enables you to quickly begin monitoring the network; Editure will provision an agreed number of nodes during deployment. Additional nodes can be added at will; they can be installed and configured literally in a matter of minutes with a simple point-and-click setup process that eliminates hours of manual configuration.

6. Network Map

Network Map allows you to view your network pictorially and visually track performance statistics in real time via a standard alerting palette of colours. With Editure NMS, sites can be plotted by using their mapping co-ordinates. Maps can be presented as a suburb, city, state or country as required, with dynamic zoom allowing correct and fast network problem diagnosis.

7.   Custom Views

Editure understands that different users need different things. Individual users can customise their display to provide the information they need, right up front. Server administrators may want to see memory utilisation across a virtual server cluster while a network administrator might want to see packet loss on a network link. Customisation is as simple as a few mouse clicks and can be dynamically changed as needed.
